I had to go to the 9-11 site.  This steel beam in cross shape was left alone to be a memorial until a real memorial is constructed, I think.  It's solemn to remember the day.  I think everyone knew what they were doing on the morning of that infamous day.

My niece, Suzy, is now almost three.  She's ever so cute.  The church building is right in front of the World Trading Center.  It's miraculous that it survived the collapse of the two huge buildings in front of it.  It's only a street across.  Suzy was born on that year.  Life goes on.  I am grateful for what I can enjoy now.

The bull of the Wall Street: the symbol of long term growth of American financial health.  The building with the gold letters on the top facade is the New York Stock Exchange.  The next photo is taken in front of NY Federal Reserve Bank.  Alan Greenspan should be there most of the time.

I went to the vibrant market of China Town.  The $40 Louis Vuitton bag, anyone?  I got this fake Oakley shade for $10.

The timeless Times Square.  The Naked Cowboy was there too.  I didn't know Broadway theater district was within a walking distance.

My sister's family photo on the New Jersey side overlooking New York Mahattan Island (the Yonker area).
